A proud young man has taken to his Facebook wall to congratulate his brother, Ekomobong Finbarr a final year student of the Federal University of Technology (FUTO), for designing a solar-powered tricycle popularly known as keke napep.

He posted several pictures of his brother with some of his lecturers in the keke napep and the caption: “I am very proud of my younger brother, Ekomobong Finbarr. Over the past few weeks, he has painstakingly produced and defended this solar powered tricycle (Keke) as his first degree project in partial fulfillment for the award of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Technology, (FUTO), Owerri. No engine, just battery and the solar system and can go 11km without blinking. His lecturers were completely stunned that he could pull this through. His Head of Department, Mr. Damian Dike with his colleague Dr. Mrs. Achumba enjoyed the first cruise of the Keke. Congratulations brother!”
