A controversial pastor is in the news again for 'having solutions' to students' examination failure.
Popular South African pastor Bishop Hamilton Nala, who is well known for courting controversies, hit headlines for selling pens which he claims has the power to make students excel in their exams.
Bishop Nala once claimed to raise a dead person and also cure people of HIV/AIDS by giving them 'holy water' to drink.
Bishop Nala who is a polygamist and is married to three women, said the pens would make the students pass their exams without any stress.
Bishop Nala who is the founder and senior pastor of the Rebirth Family Centre located in Durban, South Africa, announced during a church service on Sunday October 29, that the pens would be sold for R10 and R20 (N225 and N451).
The pens which have been circulated among the congregation, had “You will never use faith water, write with Nala pen and anoint yourself with faith oil and still pass like them, you will excel”, inscribed on them.

When he was contacted, Bishop Nala who is fondly called King Dr HQ Nala, was unreachable according to his personal assistant Princess Zikode, who said:.
“The King is currently busy with church related matters and has requested not to be interrupted.”
A church spokesman Favour Mabaso said he couldn't understand why people were making a fuss over it. He said:
“Anyone can use these pens for different purposes, even adults when applying for jobs. They help people achieve things beyond their expectations and we have testimonies. We are not misleading anyone. Nala always encourages pupils to study.”
