Uyo Church collapse: Apostle Akan facing possible amputation of his leg

Following the collapse of his church building during the service that was supposed to see him ordained as a bishop, the founder and General Overseer of the Reigners Bible church in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, is currently in the eye of the storm.

Apostle Akan's leg might be amputated

The collapse of the building on Saturday, December 10, reportedly left about 200 people dead and several others including the Apostle, injured.

According to a post shared on Facebook by IbomMobile News, Apostle Akan is currently facing the possible amputation of his injured left leg.

They wrote:

"REIGNERS BIBLE CHURCH BUILDING COLLAPSE #PrayForUyo

Apostle Akan weeks, the founder of Reigners Bible Church who was also affected by the collapse of his church building MAY have his left leg amputated.

Please let us pray for him."
