It's no longer news that legendary Nigerian juju music maestro King Sunny Ade (KSA) recently celebrated his golden jubilee in the music industry. What is news however, is the attention one of his guitars got.
According to reports, one of KSA's guitars was auctioned at a whooping sum of N52.1million (who said anything about recession?), at the #KingSunnyAde70 party held in honour of his 70th birthday and celebration of his 50 years on stage.
The bidding for the guitar which reportedly started at N9million, was eventually won by Nigerian business mogul, Tunde Folawiyo, who reportedly bought it at N52.1million.
