Despite the ongoing trial of the self-acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, most Igbo people from the South-Eastern part of Nigeria, keep showing their support for their 'leader' and everything concerning him.
His mother recently received a warm welcome, when she visited the popular Ariaria market in Aba, Abia state.
According to a post shared on Facebook by Emmanuel Okwuluora Okoh Onyeka, she was surrounded by traders and customers alike, who recognized her and kept cheering and hailing the mother of their 'hero'.

She may or may not have seen her son, as he has been at the Kuje for over one year since he was arrested.
