Mother accuses Nigerian Army of detaining her only child since 2015

A mother has cried out against the alleged unlawful detention of her daughter by the Nigerian Army, for the past one year.

The woman identified as Maryam Sani, shared her grievances on her Twitter handle, where she called on the Nigerian Army to release her daughter who she claims was among the Shiite members who were arrested by the military in 2015.

Maryam said Fatima who happens to be her only child, has been in detention since December 2015, and has spent over a year there.
