Samuel Njagi, a mechanic in Eldoret town in Kenya, was burnt to death by Juliah, his house help at around midnight on Saturday, January 14.
Neigbours said they heard screaming and groans coming from the deceased's home only to rush there to find the house on fire.He was rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The older children to the deceased claimed Juliah quarreled with their father over Ksh 10,000.

"She was always uncomfortable when my brother and I visited and mistreated our younger siblings who dad had taken to our rural home in Nyeri. He told us she was demanding Ksh 10,000 which he paid but i don't know what happened," Collins Njagi said.
A police officer who is taking part in the investigations said the manner of the killing appears to be more that the alleged KSh 10,000.
"Our preliminary reports show the woman sometimes bared the older children from visiting him. It is unfortunate that the two younger children had been transferred to a school in Nyeri," said the police officer.
Eldoret West OCPD Samuel Mutunga said they were looking for the woman who has taken care of Njagi's children since his wife died in 2013.
