Three Soweto siblings have died in a shack fire accident in South Africa.
The three siblings, aged 11 months‚ 3 and 5 years were asleep with their parents in a rented shack when it caught fire on Thursday, January 18. Their parents escaped the scene half naked.
An eyewitness, Ezekiel Kapo, who was a neighbour to the victims said he was awakened by their screams around two o clock in the morning.
He said: "It was around 2am when I heard a woman screaming and kicking my door. I jumped up and saw my neighbour half-naked. She screamed that her shack was on fire. Seconds later‚ I saw her husband who was also naked running out of their shack."

Kapo said the father of the victims later attempted to go back into the shack to fetch the three children who were sleeping but he was prevented by the fire which was ravaging the shack.
Johannesburg emergency services spokeswoman, Nana Radebe, said the cause of the fire remains unknown but fire-fighters would investigate what caused the tragic fire.
