Sragen doctors have identified her condition as a very potent onset of Ankylosing Spondylitis also known as ‘bamboo spine.’
However, Ankylosing Spondylitis is a rare form of arthritis which is caused by a long term inflammation of the joints of the spine. In serious cases the disease leads to a total fusion of the spine. The malady might also cause other health problems which include joint pain, cardiovascular disease and an increased risk of spinal problems and trauma.
There is no cure for the condition, but less serious cases of the illness can be dealt with exercise, supplements and surgery.
