8 year old Jessica Leonard used to weigh an earth shattering 190 kilograms and was considered the fattest child in the world.

Her mother said that Jessica rapidly gained weight because she would constantly be eating, at least once every two hours. Whenever the mother tried to stop her daughter from consuming too much food the child would begin to throw a tantrum.

The little girl from the state of Tennessee has shocked doctors with her gargantuan weight. It wasn’t a surprise when her excessive weight began to cause her health problems that are associated with morbid obesity.

One day Jessica suddenly developed breathing problems and found herself in the ER of a hospital. That’s when child protective services got involved in the case of Jessica Leonard and decided that something needed to be done immediately.

They came to the conclusion that it would be best if Jessica was sent to an obesity camp in Virginia where professionals could help her shed the excess weight and bring her health back on track.

Jessica lost a whopping 140 kilograms after the fat camp and now needs surgery to remove the incredible amount of excess skin.

In addition, Jessica’s mother was sent to parenting classes so she could help Jessica with her weight.
