Police arrests father after tray bullet hit 5-year-old boy in the chest (photos/video)

- A stray bullet hit a five year old in Uganda in the chest about a month ago

- The father took the boy to a hospital where doctors confirmed the wound

- The police arrested the father so he would aid them in the investigation

A five year old boy from Uganda is living with a bullet lodged between his ribs for the last month. His father claims that his young son was struck by a stray bullet in his home in Kampala’s Lubaga division.

The boy looks healthy on the outside; however, doctors believe that he will need lots of help to return back to full health.

The boy was supposed to go to school next, but his father is worried that his health problems will make everything a bit more complicated.

Doctors prescribed the boy a strict regimen of breathing exercises and a simple breathing machine to help his lungs recover from the wound.

The father took his son to a hospital in Mulago where he is currently receiving treatment for the wound. Police arrived to the hospital and arrested the father so that he would help them in the investigation. The father was transferred to the police station and was released on bond.

The police are still investigating the case.
