A man has died inside a police station after stabbing his wife.
The South African man collapsed and died on the floor of Rabasotho Police Station in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, after complaining of breathing problems.
Police spokesman, Manyadza Ralidzhivha, said the man’s wife arrived at the station around 7pm on Wednesday, February 8, with stab wounds.
Ralidzhivha said: “Her husband arrived while she was deciding whether to open a case. They were put in one of our offices to discuss the matter. The husband said he needed some fresh air and sat next to an open window.”
According to Daily Post SA, the man who was accused of stabbing his wife with a knife, followed her to the police station to try and convince her not to report him and open a case, when he died.

Ralidzhiyha confirmed that the police have started investigations to find the cause of death. He said: “Police will continue with their investigation.”
