A 24-year old car thief, Bobby Joe Washington, has gotten himself into some mess after stealing a mortuary van.
Los Angeles Times reports that the mortuary van which Bobby stole was parked with the keys left inside by the driver who checked into Chicago Avenue morgue in Riverside to pick up a paperwork, around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
But when Bobby had stolen the car, he found a dead body at the back of the van. He decided to return the van so as to steal a second vehicle. But this second time, he was stopped by a mortuary employee. He was arrested after a hot chase.

Bobby is now facing a 3-count charge, which include; auto theft, evading police and assault with a deadly weapon. However, charges of stealing the dead body was dropped because cops believe he never wanted to.
"I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anything like this, out of all the bad decisions he made, he at least made one good one and brought back the deceased person. We don’t think he knew it was in there at the time he stole it" said Riverside Police Department spokesman Ryan Railsback.
