- The woman praised God when a sudden downpour began during a crusade in Kajiado county
There comes a time in life where everything and everyone is a disappointment to you. It does not matter if it's friendship, career path, climate change or drought.
People take one of two options; get wrecked or turn to God. So it comes as a blessing to see that in her time of need, in the time of Kenya’s need for God during this biting drought, this woman turned to God instead of blaming the government and everything else for woes being experienced in part of the country.

A Maasai woman showed Kenyans that God is still God in the mountains and in the valleys when she knelt down in prayer when a sudden downpour began during a crusade in Kajiado county on Sunday, February 19.
Taking to social media, gospel music sensation Eunice Njeri shared photos of this woman who chose to kneel down in prayer instead of fleeing for cover
“At a crusade in Kajiado, it started to rain and instead of running for shelter, this amazing woman went down on her knees to thank God for rain! Until it stopped she did not zuia (stop) her praise #lovedit,” wrote Njeri.
2017 has been a tough year as drought has seen thousands of animals die, including humans losing lives over starvation.
The government declared it a national disaster and set aside KSh 11 billion (about N33 billion) to ease the effects of drought and famine.
