- This video captures the moment a morbidly obese woman is complaining about car safety design
- Her main complaint is that the seat belts cars are equipped with are not engineered with the needs of the horizontally challenged
- She even said that she might sue the car manufacturers if she is hurt during a crash
A video of a morbidly obese woman from New Zealand attempting to drive her car is going viral across the internet garnering over 500 000 views on Facebook alone.
The woman in the video is complaining that due to her immense girth the conventional seat-belts the car is equipped with are not able to reach around her and buckle correctly.
In the video we can hear her ranting. The woman says: “If they're going to give me a fine for not fitting my seat belt, it's racist! Do they think the whole world is skinny?”
The author of the video laughs when he hears the woman’s answer.

The fat woman continues: “If they're going to give me a fine for not fitting my seat belt, that's just racist.”
She adds: “Do they think the whole world is skinny or something? I could actually sue. What if I crash and something happens to me because the seat belt couldn't go around me?”
Whether or not car manufacturers will follow the obese woman’s advice is up to them, but for now the woman could consider walking as a healthy and alternative and maybe seat belts will begin to fit her again.
