A man identified as Yaw Dogah, has been declared wanted after attacking and wounding his 8-year-old daughter with a cutlass.
A 50-year-old Ghanaian man identified as Yaw Dogah, who hails from Asuboi-Wawase, Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region, has been declared wanted for injuries inflicted on his 8-year-old daughter.
According to reports, the little girl had been cracking palm nuts with one of her friends when her father who was just returning from the farm tried to stop her.
He had reportedly shouted at them, and while chasing them away ended up attacking and injuring his daughter in the head with the cutlass he was holding.

Speaking to Classic FM, the little girl said she hadn't offended her father before he attacked her. She said:
''I was crushing palm nuts with my mates when he came threatening to beat us. He got hold of my friend and beat her while I bolted; while I was running, he threw the cutlass to hit me."
Her aunt, Comfort Dogah, said she had come back home from a trip only to find the little girl with a cut on her head. Her brother had also fled after wounding his daughter.
Yaw has since been declared wanted, while his daughter is responding to treatment at the Suhum government hospital.
