A mother is living a life of regret following the way she treated her teenage daughter who killed herself while she thought she was seeking attention.
A woman identified as Gina Caze, watched her 14-year-old daughter kill herself via Facebook live recently and is currently regretting it because she had wrongly assumed she was seeking attention with her 'antics'.
Gina came across 14-year-old Nakia Venant's video on Facebook and proceeded to drop a comment where she told her to stop her attention seeking. She wrote:
"#ADHD games played you sad little DCF custody jit that’s why you (are where you are) where you at for this dumb s–t and more. You keep crying wolf you dead you will get buried. Life goes on after a jit that doesn’t listen to their parents trying to be grown seeking boys and girls attention instead of her books."

The deceased was reportedly living in a foster home following her separation from her mother in 2009 because she had been physically abusing her. She had lived in 14 foster homes in less than 16 months, and was later returned to her mother in 2010, only to be taken away again in 2014.
Gina eventually gave up Nakia for adoption again, because she 'no longer wanted her'. This probably resulted in the 14-year-old's erratic behaviour, (she went to jail twice and was expelled from three schools, she also smoked weed and drank alcohol)
Fast forward to January 2017, Nakia decided to take her life and started a 2-hour live video where she filmed her eventual death. She was found hanging from the door frame of a bathroom by the police.
Gina however was accused by the department of child services, who claimed she watched the video and did nothing to stop her own daughter from taking her own life.
She denied the claims by saying:
"I was showing you tough love when you misbehaved. You wasn’t supposed to even have access to Internet as part of your case. The system has failed us."
