Snakes in general are scary reptiles to many people. The thought of a snake slithering into the house is enough to make some of us wet their pants. Now imagine a huge reptile sleeping next to you in a plane, yet you have no idea? What will you do when you find out? Well, passengers in Alaska-bound flight recently found themselves in this exact predicament.
The passengers were left horrified when a live giant snake was discovered on board by a toddler who was just about to assume his seat.
Reports indicate that the reptile's care-taker had already gotten off the plane, but the snake did not. The healthy-looking reptile was left behind enjoying its flight in a corner.
Among those who were in the plane was Anna McConnaughy. She says they had just been alerted by the pilot that there was 'some loose on the plane' but they didn't know where it was hiding.

The boy was reportedly climbing on his seat when he spotted the strange creature comfortably taking a nap. It was partially covered by a duffel bag near the back of the plane.
"Oh, mom, look at this. What's that?" the boy yelled.
And that was how the passengers discovered that there was indeed a snake in their midst, thus confirming their worse fears after the pilot mentioned it.
However, the passengers stayed calm, without any commotion, even as others pulled out their phones to take photos of the reptile.
The pilot quickly came back to help with the snake scare.
"He was quite a gentleman," says McConnaughy.
Flight attendant grabbed the reptile by the belly and dropped it into a plastic trash bag. It was them put in an overhead storage bin where it spent the rest of the flight.
The incident was reported by the local media, which eventually caught the attention of the snake's owner, identified as William Walsh.
Walsh had allegedly reported that his pet was missing, though the authorities said he had not registered the snake for travel in the cabin of the Ravn Alaska flight.
