Police allegedly shoots fresh graduate and a prospective corp member

The recklessness of police officers and other officers in the force has become a major point of concern to everyone in Nigeria and outside it. A trigger-happy police officer allegedly shot three persons.

Of the three victims, a graduate of Imo State University and an indigene of the state were lucky enough to be getting out of coma after being shot.

The same officer who killed Obinna Iwuoha, the 16 year old boy, was the one that shot them too. Tochukwu Uzuokwu, a 25-year-old fresh graduate of IMSU and Chukwuebuka Donatus, a 24-year-old citizen of the state who hails from Amaukwu Obollo in Isiala Mbano local government area of the state revealed that they saw the sergeant firing at late Iwuoha.

Uzuokwu is a prospective corp member waiting to receive his call up letter with the next NYSC batch. Although he was in severe pains and could not sit, he managed to say what happened.

Donatus on the other hand has some family issues to take care of as his father was laying in the mortuary; he would be buried in April. From the look of things, Donatus may not be able to attend the funeral because of the seriousness of his condition.

The orthopedic nurse handling their bone fractures explained that it would take a while before they would start walking again.
