Top Canadian model Winnie Harlow looked stunning at an LGBT, HIV and youth empowerment fundraiser in New York on Thursday, April 20.

The 22-year-old model wore a stylish black minidress and stood tall in black platform boots that emphasized her elegant gait.

Her stunning look was no surprise, as she has been stealing the show in various fashion and modeling events across the world for several years now.

Harlow first gained prominence during the 2014 edition of Tyra Bank's popular modeling competition, America's Next Top Model.

She was absolutely comfortable in her skin, which is affected by vitiligo, and her confidence won her legions of fans on social media.

In a recent interview, Harlow said she faced bullying at school because of her vitiligo and consequently, she never thought she could be a model.

She added: "To be completely honest I never thought I could become a model growing up. I actually wanted to be an entertainment journalist."
