Senator provides medical support to baby whose arm was amputated in Kebbi state (photos)

- A Nigerian doctor is in trouble after he allegedly cut off the arm of a baby he delivered

- He claimed he cut off the baby’s arm to save the mother’s life but upon delivering the baby, it was discovered that the baby was alive

- Kebbi South Senator Bala IBN Na’Allah has provided funds for the baby’s treatment

The Deputy Senate leader representing the Southern part of Kebbi state, Bala IBN Na’Allah, has provided immediate medical treatment to the newborn baby whose arm was amputated at Zuru general hospital.

Na’Allah’s team took the baby and the mother to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi, after they arrived at Danko, Wasagu local government area on Monday, April 24.

You may recall that NAIJ.com had reported that an unknown medical doctor allegedly amputated an unborn baby’s arm in a bid to save the mother's life.

The doctor had informed the baby’s parent that the baby had died in the womb and it was important for them to save the mother’s life instead.
