NAIJ.com gathered that two young men were caught trying to steal from a neighbourhood in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
The crime rate seems to be on a steady increase these days as hardly any day goes by without it being reported that someone somewhere has committed an offence.
The increase could either be attributed to the economic recession the country is facing, or it could be that some people just can't stay away from trouble.
The latter seems to be the case of one of the robbers caught recently in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
According to a facebook user identified as Merit Uruaku Onyeocha, two thieves were caught stealing generators. One of the thieves, was allegedly released from jail recently, and now faces the possibility of going back because of his actions.

"Forgot to post this in the morning.
The security guys in my neighbourhood caught these guys this early morning along seaside road. After stealing two generators (I pass my neighbour to be precise) and 1 bike (okada) from their neighbours in Ogoni Camp Umuebulu 1.
Actually the guy on shorts just came back from prison and now look at him in another mess. They will not go and rest."
