- The Delta state police officer who was shot by unknown gunmen on Sunday night has died in hospital

- His friend has come out to pen down his tribute
On Tuesday, May 9, the assistant commissioner of police, Usman Ndandabo in Delta state was reported dead after being shot unknown gunmen.
NAIJ.com gathered that, late Usman Ndandabo was shot twice and at close range while he was driving alone at about 8pm in his Nissan SUV on Sunday night, May 7, in Delta state.
It was further reported that, Ndandabo tried to run away from the assassins but they immediately fired two shots at him on the back.
Following his death, one of his friends identified as Kelvin Mopho PNM Esq, took to a Facebook profile to pen down his heart-melting tribute to his late friend.
He said: “ANOTHER MURDER TOO MANY! My Friend and Brother Rest In God's Peace Assistant Commissioner Of Police USMAN NDANBABO ACP. USMAN NDANBABO ACP Was The Area Commander Of Ugheli Area Command Of The Nigeria Police Force. He Was Shot By Gun Men Yesterday At The Round Opp The Palace Of The Ovie Of Ugheli At Ugheli Local Government Council Of Delta State. This Morning After Court Proceeding, I Had To Go And Sign The Condolence Register Opened In His Honour By The Area Command. USMAN NDANBABO ACP. Was A Good Man. He Was A Man Of Justice. Father And Teacher To Many. He Was A Detribalized Officer With The Fear Of God. A Man Loved By His Officers And Men Of Ranks And File. Oh Death Smile Not..! Kelvin Mopho PNM Esq.”
