NAIJ.com came across a story shared by a Twitter user identified as @Nanazileh about how she lost two of her sisters to abusive boyfriends.
The advent of social media seems to have further projected how rampant domestic violence actually is.
Lots of women have experienced some form of violence from their partners and had to keep quiet in times past, but thanks to social media, some are actually able to get help and eventually be able to share their stories for others to learn from it.
A South African lady identified as Amber Run @NanaZileh, lost two of her sisters to violence inflicted on them by their boyfriends.

@Nanazileh then narrated how her second sister died, after her boyfriend forced himself on her when she tried to find out if he was really HIV+ as she had heard in a circulating rumour.
Losing not one, but two sisters in almost the same fashion must have been very hard on her. Violence against women is something that should be taken seriously.
