Nigerian woman gives birth to sextuplets after 17 years of marriage

- Nigerian couple Adeboye Taiwo and wife have been married for 17 years with no child

- In May, the wife finally gave birth to a set of sextuplets: 3 boys and 3 girls

Facebook user Chris Kehinde Nwandu posted the photos and story of a Nigerian couple Mr and Mrs Taiwo were recently blessed with sextuplets after 17 years of marriage.

His story says: "Miracle! Woman delivers sextuplets after 17 years of marriage. She is seeking support. Mr Adeboye Taiwo has been married for 17 years ,the wife got pregnant. He was expecting a baby but God gave him the greatest surprise of his life, not one or two, she delivered six kids (3 boys,3 girls)."

"All of them are alive.he is is seeking the support of well meaning Nigerians at home and abroad for support. Taiwo told CKN News: 'I and Ajibola my only wife had been married for 17 years. This is our first kids. All we were asking God for is at least a child and we never knew they were six until we had an ultrasound."

"I was short of words when the babies came because God surprised me. The babies were delivered on the 11th of May 2017 at the Labor and Delivery department of Virginia Commonwealth University Teaching Hospital (VCU) Richmond VA. USA".
