Nigerian businessman marries off 50 young girls in Yobe (photos)

- A rich businessman has married off 50 beautiful girls in Yobe state

- The businessman also married off 40 internally displaced girls a month ago

Rich Nigerian businessman, Muhammed Yakubu Jacob, has married off 50 beautiful young girls in Gashua town, Yobe state.

NAIJ.com gathered that the ceremony was held under the watchful eye of Alhaji Abubakar Umar Sulaiman, the Emir of Gashua.

Jacob is doing this only a month after he married off 40 internally displaced young girls who have no one to take care of them.

The girls married off are daughters of the internally displaced parents and orphans in the state. Some of the girls were also daughters of people who could not marry off their daughters because of finance even though the daughters had suitors.

According to the Emir, the couples had already gone through various tests such as genotype, HIV and pregnancy tests before going through with the wedding.

Sulaiman expressed that the couples have been screened to avoid anything that would invalidate their marriage.

Speaking at the event, the Emir expressed gratitude towards Jacob for bringing comfort to parents.

Jacob expressed that after the first mass wedding he held, he had received lots of requests from the girls to help them get married.
