A Ghanaian man identified as Nyameba Rden Kofi has rescued an unemployed man who collapsed on the road after having starved for three days.
The 34-year-old expressed that he found the starving man lying on the road shaking. He explained that he helped the man up with the help of a police officer.
According to Kofi, as the man lied on the road a lot of people passed him by and snapped photos of him while others just insulted him.
NAIJ.com gathered that the man who collapsed is a fisherman from Elmina fishing port in Ghana. He was identified as Isaac Boateng. He also repairs damaged bicycles
Boateng expressed that he moved to Tema to find a job after it became hard to catch fish in Elmina.
He explained that after he roamed the city for a week without finding a job he started begging for food but people turned him away and he was only found after he had starved for three days.
Kofi further added that Boateng has been given money to keep him fed for few days on his way back to Elmina.
