Grieving families in Georgia, US have been comforted by an incredible photo taken at the scene of the car crash where they lost their loved ones.

Two women and a baby, Hannah Simmons, 23, her nine month old daughter A'lannah, and friend Lauren Buteau, 28, died in a car crash on April 25.

A commuter waiting for the road to be cleared took a picture that appeared to show a beam of light illuminating the scene of the crash.

The commuter, Anisa Gannon, sent the picture to her aunt, Tara Noble, who said she immediately saw a "pathway to heaven."

Speaking to a local news outlet, Noble said: "I don't believe in coincidences, especially the two "lights" inside that bigger light. It brought the families peace, whether it's a glare or not. It's indescribable, basically, and it does look like them leaving."
