Banker killed during argument over a dented car in Port Harcourt

Legit.ng gathered that a banker was recently tortured to death after being involved in an argument with a man over a dented car in Rivers state.

According to reports, a man identified as Paschal Chukwuemeka Nnorom, was killed while on his way to a colleague's wedding with his wife, on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

The deceased who was a banker, had allegedly gotten into an argument with a man identified as Joseph Udoh, who had hit the car he was driving.

Eyewitnesses report that Udoh had refused to come down from his car after hitting Nnorom's SUV, and even after the deceased had walked up to him to try to resolve the matter, had remained stubborn.

According to reports, as soon as Nnorom placed his hand through the window of Udoh's car, he wound up the glass and drove off with the deceased's hand still in his window.

While dragging the deceased for a short distance, his body had hit a pavement, which led to the breaking of his spinal cord and legs. He slipped into unconsciousness and died shortly afterwards.

An angry mob gathered when they saw what Udoh had done, he was beaten almost to the point of death and narrowly missed jungle justice when policemen arrived at the scene.

The deceased's wife, Priscilla, who fainted after hearing about her husband's death and had to be revived, spoke about it. She said:

He dragged him several poles before he stopped. He was everything to me."

When the mob was beating Udoh, he told them he was ready to die, as far as he had done what he wanted to do.

Priscilla however wants justice to be served, and for Udoh to be brought to book.
