An American hunter from Texas has claimed to have caught and killed a 13-pound bullfrog

Legit.ng gathered that the hunter caught and killed the bullfrog at a fishing pond in Batesville, South Texas.

The hunter, who was identified as, Marcuz Rangel, posted the photos of the bullfrog on the South Texas Hunting Association’s Facebook page.

According to MailOnline, it is assumed that the bullfrog was shot by the hunter due to the fact that Rangel was holding a shotgun in the photos he posted.

Meanwhile, social media user who saw the photos expressed disbelief that an animal like the bullfrog in the photos could exist.

However, the spokesperson for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Steve Lightfoot, confirmed that the animal is real.

He expressed that it obviously looks bigger in the photos because of the optical illusion created by the camera.
