- Child with Down syndrome takes perfect shot through plane window
- Mom was astonished when she saw photo taken by her disabled son
- The kid believes the photo is that of his guardian angel
- It was taken using cell phone as they travelled in plane
A mother, who is a professional photographer, was left speechless after she discovered a spectacular snapshot that was taken by her disabled son as they traveled back home in a plane from Washington.
Ms Kerri Liles, from Houston, Texas, was scrolling her cell phone when she came across the amazing shot that had been taken by her seven-year-old son, who is reportedly suffering from Down syndrome.
“As were travelling back home with my son, he wanted to take some photos through the plane’s window. So he grabbed my phone and went for it,” says Ms Liles.
The youngster, named Aasher, with an extra ‘A’ in his name – to emphasize his special condition, took several snapshots, during which he captured what he believed was his guardian angel.
His mother only discovered the extraordinary shot later when she was going through the photos they had taken earlier using her cell phone.
“I was busy deleting some of the photos to create space in the phone memory, then this one particular shot that really grabbed my attention popped up,” says Ms Liles.
Aasher’s mom believes he took the photo of his guardian angel to bring him some comfort after what she describes as a bumpy take off.
"We have known for some time now that he has a sixth sense about other people’s needs. Be it a hug or a smile, he just gravitates to strangers in need,” says Ms Liles.
Perhaps, Aasher would end up becoming a photographer just like his mom.
