Tricycle riders have staged a protest following the recent mandate by the Ministry of Transport in Delta state to sell waste baskets at N2,500 to all transport workers.
According to the drivers during the protest, the basket sold by the government is more expensive than the ones sold at the market for N200.
They asked the government to allow them buy the waste baskets from the market.
The protesting Keke Napep riders expressed that they cannot feed their family let alone buy waste baskets of N2,500.
