A family in Eastleigh, Nairobi, Kenya, is feeling short changed by a local eatery in the area, after they claimed to have been served Chinese plastic rice for lunch.
According to the family, the Chinese rice has unusual taste when served.
The Eastleigh family said they now feared for their health as they don't know the side effects of the plastic rice.

NAIJ.com has learnt that some Eastleigh residents are avoiding some rice brands from Asia due to the fear that it could contain plastic rice.
In a video that has gone viral, the family showed how the rice looked genuine but when eaten was quite uncomfortable for the taste buds.

Kenyans online reacted with fear after the video went viral on social media. Some even joked that Kenya was now becoming a nation of fake products and wondered how long the government would act to bring sanity.
