Month-old baby resurrects in Kenya after dying for four days (photos, video)

Villagers in Bondeni, Mwingi sub-county, were left stunned Saturday, June 17, when a a month-old baby who had died for four days resurrected on the day of its burial.

The family of Major Mwenga was preparing to inter the body of the little angel who had passed on after a short illness when it coughed once as mourners flocked the homestead.

In fact, even the grave had been prepared for the deceased.

Some family members who were seated near the baby jumped and in shock when they heard the cough.

One of them touched the corpse and felt warm. She alerted the rest and when she touched its eye, the baby opened both eyes and coughed again.

On hearing the development, mourners who had flocked the homestead fled like they had seen a plague coming.

Others who did not believe the news, like the Biblical doubting Thomas, came to see for themselves. Indeed, the child had resurrected.

Its family rushed the kid to the nearest hospital for further treatment and later in the day doctors confirmed the kid was doing well.

Those who fled the homestead believe an evil spirit was hovering over the homestead.
