Ogun State College of Health suspends lecturer for getting nursing student pregnant (photos)

A lecturer identified as Dr Seyi Adu at the Ogun State College of Health Technology (OSCOTECH), Ilese-Ijebu has been indefinitely suspended for getting one of a 300 level Dental Nursing student pregnant.

Punch reported that in August 2016 Adu was caught sleeping with his student Mosunmola in a hotel. The case was immediately reported to the school authority and other academic staffs were warned stay away from him.

Dr Adu was identified as the Oral Health Coordinator of the college. Confirming his suspension from the college was the school’s spokesperson Ayodele Alaga. He said that:

“It is true. The suspension is indefinite. We have severed relationship with him. He was an adjunct lecturer. We will await the final outcome of the investigation by the ministry of health.”

However, Mosunmola was reported to have delivered a baby boy from her affair with Adu but the lecturer has refused to make any payment to her, claiming that she wants to turn him into a cash-cow.

Adu who is married with two children had earlier agreed to pay his baby mama a monthly fee of N5,000 in addition to the N7,000 ante-natal fee, defaulted after he was presented with a list of items needed for Mosunmola’s delivery worth N50,000.

Mosunmola gave birth at the General Hospital, Epe. Narrating her side of the story the young lady revealed that while in 100 level, Adu told her either she pays him or use her body to pass his course.
