Ex-governor’s daughter and self-acclaimed journalist, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, has revealed plans to run for the position of the governor of Oyo state.
Olunloyo, who has remained controversial on social media, took to her Instagram handle on Thursday, August 17, to announce that she would be contesting to be the next governor of Oyo state with the hashtag ‘MadamKOO2019'.
In her post, she revealed that she would empower women, feed children and would be showing off her campaign portal soon.
Her post reads: “#BREAKING I am waking up today as a #Politician. YES! I am running for Governor of #OyoState Nigeria in 2019 as an independent #MadamKOO2019. It could be recalled that her father, Victor Omololu Olunloyo, was the former governor of Oyo state for three months. He served between October 1983 and December of the same year.
