Thief arrested again for same crime few days after release from jail in Imo state (photos)

A young man and suspected thief has been re-arrested in Imo state, just few days after he was released from prison for committing same crime.

The man who was identified as Madabuchukwu Unamba was said to be a bus conductor before he was arrested by the Imo state security Network, Oru West. He was reported to have been in jail for one year.

After much interrogation, he confessed that he escaped from a police cell and broke into a shop alongside his driver, Nwa Papa. Unamba said they stole 11 car batteries, one Tiger power generator and five mobile phones.

Looking at the pictures which have gone viral on the internet, the young man has been beaten by angry the angry mob that gathered round him. They tied his hands to his back and made him sit on the floor with the stolen items arranged in front of him.
