Nigerian man Omotoyosi Craig wins best outstanding award in South Africa (photos)

A Nigerian man identified as Toyosi Craig has been given the award for the best outstanding student in South Africa.

The young man graduated in 2011 after completing his studies in mechanical engineering at the Federal University of Technology in Akure (FUTA).

Craig moved to South Africa for his doctorate degree in engineering management at the Stellenbosch University.

It was gathered that the young man received the honour at the Nigeria Community Excellence Award held at Encore Theater Complex in South Africa.

He emerged as the winner of the best outstanding student against three nominees that were picked from over 400 students.

The young man was honoured with the award for his accomplishments and research innovations. In 2016, Craig also won the award for young researcher of the year in South Africa.

Legit.ng gathered that the most outstanding student award was sponsored and introduced this year by the Old Mutual South Africa to honour the best Nigerian student in the country.

Craig, who just completed a project on the development by innovation for Africa at the Technical University of Munich in Germany, thanked God for the honour.
