SARS official reportedly shoots man for refusing to bribe him

A young man was reportedly shot by a Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) official, for refusing to part with some bribe.

According to an eyewitness, an Ogun state SARS official shot a young man in the foot after he refused to offer some bribe.

The young man had reportedly been accused of being an internet fraudster 'yahoo boy' by the officials who ran away after the shooting. The young man is said to be receiving treatment at the Babcock hospital in Ogun state.

Here's what the eyewitness said below:

“This is Bolaji and he was shot by SARS in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State yesterday, around 4:30pm, claiming he was a “yahoo boy” which he isn’t, and immediately he was shot they ran away. My point is, they were supposed to be catching robbers and not just ordinary boys, yahoo is a crime but they’re not in the place to shoot and why would they run after shooting the guy all in the name of claiming the guy should give them money?”
