On Thursday, September 1, Lagos state government demolished a newly acquired building by a bakery owner on Wednesday, August 31.

This news has gone viral on the social media through the help of a Nigerian BBC reporter, Steph Hegarty who took to her twitter handle to post the picture of the demolished building with the caption: “This bakery owner paid 5m naira in rent YESTERDAY. Lagos state gov tore it down today.”
