A woman impressed by her son's nanny, placed an advert in a newspaper to show her gratitude.
An Arab woman decided to show her gratitude to her nanny who has been helping her take care of her autistic son.
The nanny who is from Kenya, has been helping the woman out for the past two years, and is due to leave Qatar soon as a result of the expiration of her stay.
The madam identified as Mariam Al Rashdi, placed the advert in the Gulf times community newspaper, saying how much she appreciated the nanny Elizabeth Kamoca, who has been taking care of her autistic son, Karim.
Here's what she wrote below:
"This is a note from me, as a mother of a young man with special needs to say thanks for being an angel that God sent to help my son and support him. Thanks for loving him, accepting him, understanding him, and help him develop by teaching him. I am sure Kenya and the entire world will be proud of you one day. God will reward you for taking the best care of my son."
The happy Al Rashdi has since set up a center that takes care of children with special needs. Granting an interview with Doha News, she said:
"It is time for a change (in society), it is no longer acceptable to hide children away. Things are changing and we will be part of that."
