Canadian actor Richard Hong was found dead in a Los Angeles home.
According to reports by Los Angeles Police, the home was rented by George Stroumboulopoulos, a Canadian TV and radio personality. The 41-year-old actor was just staying at Stroumboulopoulos's place for a short while before the sad accident occurred.
The police however made it known that Hong might have been a victim of a burglary attempt. Police found Hong's body after they responded to a 911 call around 2am Friday, September 23. Witnesses claim they saw a man dressed in a black jacket fleeing from the scene, according to LAPD Officer Jenny Houser.

Heartbroken Stroumboulopoulos took to Facebook to share his grief. He wrote: ''Many of you have seen the reports of a homicide which occurred early this morning in the home I rent in Los Angeles. I only have a few details but it seems like it was the result of a break in. The victim was a dear friend of mine, who was staying at my place while I was away. I am heartbroken.
''I am writing this from a plane en route to Los Angeles from New York, so I can be with my friends there, who are also devastated. There's so much to say but I'm at a loss for words so just love your people and I will have more to say when we know more about what happened.''
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
